Adj. Professor Arash Nabavi
Prof Nabavi is an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in the surgery of the Hip, Knee and Shoulder. Prof Nabavi's surgical training started at the Orthopaedic unit of the London Hospital Medical College, a pioneering centre for hip and knee arthroplasty. In 1996 Prof Nabavi emigrated to Australia where he completed his training in orthopaedic surgery. Prof Nabavi was awarded the fellowship of the royal Australasian college of surgeons in 2005. He spent a further twelve months sub-specialising in the surgery of the hip and knee, first here in Sydney and subsequently at the Exeter Hip unit which is one of the premier centres for hip surgery in the world. Prof Nabavi is a frequent speaker at national and international scientific meetings. He has presented at the international society for hip arthroscopy ISHA and the international society of knee surgery, arthroscopy and orthopaedic sports medicine ISAKOS.
